We are in the middle of an era where so many people are going for the same job and the same promotion. So much more is the need to stand out from the crowd! It goes for the image you create and convey about yourself too, and there is always something about your hairstyle. |
The hair is like a hat! Think about it, there are some hats that look good on you and some that may not. It is the shape that we wear on our head that adds or subtracts from the features we own. Hence we need to wear the best that suits our appearance!
Round Face
It needs as much angle in the shape of your hair as possible. Anything that stops at the chin length will add weight to your look and make it all look as one big ball. Avoid chin length hair and box-like fringes. Ideal length would be just past your collarbone, with weight and bulk only visible on the ends, keeping the sides and top as flat as possible.
Square Face
Well, with the same thought process we need to soften this look, so you do not look like a boxer from the Baltic States (unless that’s the look you are after!). Again, you need to avoid adding to the square look and the length needs to be longer than the chin or you will add to the shape. The length should be below the collarbone minimum. If you want to part your hair, it should be towards the side and a sidesweeping fringe can accompany it.
Long Face
You have to be careful about not making the face look any longer. You should avoid a centre parting, as it will drag your look down. If you are tall, then you should be aiming for a length that is between your collarbone and chin that will add fullness to the sides. It is very important to consider face shape, body type, lifestyle, personality, hair texture, skin tone and hair care regime, while deciding a haircut. Also try something that requires easy and low maintenance. |
